Experience Works
By 2010, more than 25% of the U.S. population will be 55 or older. America's population is aging and mature workers are already in demand. You can take advantage of the many opportunities that are available by gaining competitive job skills through community service employment training. Visit our website at www.experienceworks.org, contact Melissa Palfrey at (920) 734-1635.
WISE Program
The WISE Program is a statewide program to help workers age 55 and older find employment. The WISE Program provides older adults with training and part-time work experience in community service organizations. Each WISE Program participant receives individual job counseling and a comprehensive assessment from and Older Worker Specialist. Together, the job seeker and Older Worker Specialist will prepare and individual employment plan to serve as a guide to job opportunities. If you are 55 or older and need help finding a job, call the Bureau of Aging & Disability Resources at (608) 267-9097 or Ana Rivera at (920) 968-6316.
